| In the early 80’s when I moved into Roberts County in the eastern Texas panhandle I became aware of the many playa lakes in the area and the abundance of geese, sandhill cranes and ducks which inhabit them. The food supply was excellent with large wheat, milo and cornfields everywhere. I knew it would be an excellent opportunity for me to provide a great waterfowl hunt to my clients and I was right.
